What Mindbar actually is.
Two apps and one account. Everything on this page is what version 1.4.6 does today, not what is planned.
On Android
A Dynamic Island around your camera that scrolls your notes over any app. A home-screen widget. The same notes on your lock screen. A floating + button for writing one without opening anything. And “Mindbar” in the text menu of every app on the phone. No root needed, Android 8 and up.
On Windows
Always-on-top sticky notes: a small bar beside the Start button, scrolling the same notes above every window. Pinned lists open straight from the bar. Copy anything and a capture circle appears at your cursor. Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.
In a browser
The same app at mindbar.xyz/app. Try Mindbar there before installing anything, or write from a computer that isn't yours. The pill and the widget only exist on the phone and PC apps.

Sync, in one paragraph
Sign in with the same email on both devices. Anything you add on one shows on the other within about half a minute. Both can be edited at the same time without one wiping out the other, deletes included. Offline, everything keeps working and syncs when you are back online.
Price
Everything, free. No card.
Paid by bKash, by hand. No card kept and no auto-charge.
Nothing is deleted. Each app keeps working on its own device, and you can always log in, export everything or delete your account.
Get it
Install it on both your phone and your PC, and sign in with the same email.

Questions people ask
Is Mindbar a Dynamic Island for Android?
Yes. It puts an iPhone-style pill around your phone's camera, and it scrolls your own notes and to-dos over any app. It works on Android 8 and up, including Samsung, Xiaomi and Redmi phones.
Can I keep sticky notes always on top in Windows 11?
Yes. Mindbar's notes scroll in a small bar beside the Start button that stays above every window, on Windows 11 and Windows 10.
Can I see my notes on the Android lock screen?
Yes. Turn on Settings, Lock screen in the app and your notes scroll on the lock screen, so you can read them without unlocking.
Is it a to-do list app with reminders?
Yes. Write a time in a job on the daily to-do list, like “Call Karim 3pm” or “Meeting 14:30”, and it rings as a real alarm on your phone and your PC, even with the app closed. You can also set a bell on any job by hand.
Does my phone need a notch?
No. On a phone with a flat top edge the pill sits at the top and works the same way.
Will it drain my battery?
The scrolling is capped at about 20 frames a second, which keeps it light. On Xiaomi phones, “Clean all” in Recents closes it; locking Mindbar in Recents stops that, and Settings → Island shows you where.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one: you sign in with your email. Sync is free for the first 30 days. If you don't pay after that, each app keeps working on its own device, it just stops syncing.
Can you read my notes?
No. They are locked on your device with a key made from your password. We hold only the locked copy.
Why does my phone or PC warn me about the file?
Mindbar is not in the Play Store or the Microsoft Store yet, so Android asks whether you trust files from your browser and Windows may show a blue SmartScreen box. Both are normal for apps downloaded straight from their maker.
